Reuniting Families

Senior Vice President Joe Ford is passionate about the valuable work that happens at Hathaway-Sycamores’ El Nido residential campus. Adjacent to JPL, El Nido is “home” to some 50 boys from 6 to 18-years-old. The programs on campus include Foster Care and Adoption Services, Shelter Care and out-of-home care for boys with severe challenges that prevent them from living safely at home. First Annual Back-to-School Event

Learning Lab Ventures ( LLV) hosted the First Annual Back-to-School Event at our Family Resource Center last Saturday. Volunteers, including the Highland Park Neighborhood Council, Hathaway-Sycamores’ Los Altos Auxiliary and PwC  employees, were present to hand out toiletries, healthy snacks, sunglasses and backpacks filled with school supplies to the children and youth in attendance. Local Company Helps Youth Prepare for Academic Success

In what has become an annual tradition, CPO Commerce, LLC generously donated over 200 backpacks to the children and youth at Hathaway-Sycamores. Volunteers from the CPO Team visited our Family Resource Center in Highland Park last week to handout the backpacks to the kids. The boys and staff at El Nido had a tasty treat when the In-N-Out Burger truck came to our residential campus earlier this week. The helpful In-N-Out staff members were cooking the food to order for the extremely satisfied customers.
