Our 26-year old “Dinners from the Heart” tradition has been reimagined for the digital age of social distancing, with our inaugural Virtual Dinner Party and Cooking Class in June. The first event was such a success, we are pleased to announce our second Virtual Dinners from the Heart, a Virtual Cocktail Class and Party on Thursday, August 20th from 5:00 – 6:30 pm, hosted in your home via Zoom. The event will be a simple and delicious way to safely join with community and support the work we do at the same time.

We are partnering with The Raymond 1886, the historic Pasadena restaurant and world-class cocktail bar for this event. The Raymond 1886’s Head Barman, Jesus Gomez, will teach guests two summer season cocktail recipes, as well as the fundamentals of cocktail mixing. The evening will also include an entertaining lineup of cocktail demonstrations, staff testimonials, and great conversation.

Tickets are $85 per person.

Hathaway-Sycamores Dinners From the Heart

Includes ingredients for 3* cocktails, along with a charcuterie plate.
*We will be learning how to mix two different cocktails, but guests will be provided with enough ingredients for a third drink.

In addition to good company, food, and drink, guests will be making a positive difference in our community as all proceeds will go directly to helping children, young adults, and families impacted by COVID-19. In this difficult time of isolation and uncertainty, mental health needs are also soaring, and philanthropic support from our community becomes even more critical. We remain open and are continuing all lines of our services to address the needs of our community.

We hope you can join us to shake it up over drinks and small bites! It is certain to be an enjoyable evening in support of a worthy cause.
