On Tuesday, Jan. 1, the Stanford Cardinal outplayed the Wisconsin Badgers and walked away with a Rose Bowl victory. 89.3 KPCC Radio aired a great story about Fresh Start, Hathaway-Sycamores’ collaborative program with Alhambra U.S.D. The program helps kids make a successful transition from middle school to high school. Sixty students who had faced social and/or academic challenges in middle school took part in the intensive program this past summer and gained tools to succeed academically and cope with the stress of high school.
