One of only six agencies in the Los Angeles area to receive this award, staff members from Hathaway-Sycamores worked with the All Children – All Families staff members and expert advisers to evaluate and update our policies as needed, working toward the benchmarks of LGBT. After achieving each of the benchmarks, Hathaway-Sycamores was designated a “Leader in Supporting and Serving LGBT Youth and Families” and awarded the All Children – All Families Seal of Recognition.

Commenting on the leadership designation and the seal of recognition, Hathaway-Sycamores’ President and CEO William Martone said, “Our agency is very supportive of the HRC’s All Children–All Families project. We are committed to meeting the needs of LGBT youth who are in our care, and we actively reach out to LGBT adults who are interested in foster parenting or adoption. Hathaway-Sycamores places a high priority on being an inclusive organization.”
