The Los Altos Auxiliary of Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services will be hosting its annual wine-tasting fundraiser on Sunday, April 19th from 4:00 to 6:30pm. The “Wines of the Pacific Northwest ” event will be held at the charming La Cañada Thursday Club in La Cañada Flintridge.

Guests will enjoy seven highly rated wines from Oregon and Washington, starting with a festive sparkling wine followed by refreshing whites and then moving on to classic reds including elegant Pinot Noirs and rich Cabernet Sauvignons. Light appetizers, prepared specifically to pair with the selected wines, will be served and an enticing array of silent-auction baskets will also be available for bidding.

For the third year, volunteer culinary students will prepare and serve the food offerings under the direction of Chefs Jamie Colboth-MacLeod and Tenisha Hall from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Los Angeles.  Los Altos is also excited to be partnering this year with the Gelson’s Market in La Cañada.  Gelson’s is underwriting a generous portion of the food costs.

Event tickets are $75.  RSVP’d guests only–sadly, we cannot accept walk-ins. To receive an invitation, please visit the Los Altos Auxiliary website or call 818-790-9246. For additional information please email Los Altos Auxiliary or call 818-790-9246.
